PRODUCTS & ARTWORK 

We aim to display all artwork, colors, dimensions and details as accurately as possible. However:

• Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings.

• Handmade artworks may contain small natural variations

• All dimensions are approximate unless otherwise stated

Unless clearly stated otherwise, artwork sold are original creations by JMTHEARTIST

 

PRICING & PAYMENTS 

• All prices are listed in NOK/EUR/USD

• Prices may change at any time without notice

• Full payment is required before orders are processed or shipped.

• We accept secure payments through approved payments providers.

 

Customers outside Norway may be responsible for:

- Import taxes

- VAT or local handling fees

These charges are determined by your local authorities and are not included in our prices.

NORWEGIAN ART FEE (KUNSTAVGIFT)

In accordance with Norwegian law, a mandatory 5% art fee may be added to original artworks sold for more than 2000 NOK

This fee is collected and reported to Bildende Kunstneres Hjelpefond (BKH) through the Norwegian kunstavgift system.

Where applicable:

• The 5% fee will be added at checkout or included in the listed sales price.

• Kunstavgift applies to qualifying original artworks sold publicly in Norway

• Customers purchasing eligible artworks agree to pay this statutory fee where required by law.

SHIPPING POLICY 

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 6-11 business day.

 

Delivery time

Shipping times vary depending on destination and courier service.

Tracking information will be provided where available.

 

Incorrect addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided at checkout.

 

Shipping delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

• postal services

• Customs processing

• Weather conditions

• Carrier disruptions

 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Customers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable Norwegian consumer law. Customer must notify JMTHEARTIST within the applicable withdrawal period. The customer may use the statutory withdrawal form provided with the order or contact us at post@jmtheartists.com with a clear statement that they wish to withdraw from the purchase. 

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product.

However, refunds, replacements or exchanges may be offered if:

• The wrong item was sent

• The item arrives damaged

• The product significantly differs from its description

​

Returned products should be packaged securely. The customer may be responsible for any reduction in the value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and condition.

To request assistance, please contact us within 7-14 days of delivery with:

• Your order number

• Photos of the item and packaging

• A description of the issue

 

Approved returns must be:

• Unused

• In original condition

• Returned in original packaging where possible

Return shipping cost are the responsibility of the customer unless the error was ours

DAMAGED ITEMS 

  If your artwork arrives damaged:

1. Take clear photos of the artwork and packaging as soon as possible.

2. Keep all packaging materials.

3. Contact us at post@jmtheartists.com as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the damage.

 We will review the claim and determine an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

 

COMMISSIONED ARTWORK 

For custom or commissioned artwork:

• A non-refundable deposit of 30-50% may be required.

• Estimated completion times are approximate.

• Major revisions after approval may incur additional changes.

• Completed commission payments must be made before shipping.

We reserve the right to decline commission requests.

 

COPYRIGHT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 

All artwork, images, logos, designs and content on this website and social media pages are the intellectual property of JMTHEARTIST unless otherwise stated.

 

Purchasing artwork does not transfer copyright ownership.

You may not:

• Reproduce artwork

• Sell copies

• Use images commercially

• Create NFTs or digital reproductions

• Modify or distribute artwork without written permission

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JMTHEARTIST shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses

• Shipping delays outside our control

• Minor color variations

• Damage caused after delivery

 

Our total liability shall never exceed the purchase price of the product ordered.

 

PRIVACY

Customer information is collected only for:

• Processing orders

• Customer support

• Shipping and delivery

We do not sell or share customer data with third parties except when necessary for payments processing and shipping services.

 

GOVERNING LAW 

These terms & conditions are governed by the laws of Norway and applicable European consumer protection laws.

Any disputes shall be handled in accordance with Norwegian consumer and commercial laws.
